ROFL! Great investigative skills, Liberation. Hey, I'm not Sherlock, but I'm guessing that in less than one week's time, I could determine from here, and wearing pajamas, with no Iraqi phone book at my disposal, that she wasn't being held by the US military or in an accident.

The French newspaper whose reporter in Baghdad has been missing since last week said Monday it seemed increasingly likely that she was abducted. Iraqi and French officials say a search is under way for Florence Aubenas of the French daily Liberation and her Iraqi translator, Hussein Hanoun al-Saadi. They were last seen Wednesday morning leaving the reporter's Baghdad hotel. Liberation's managing editor, Antoine de Gaudemar, said the pair did not appear to have been picked up by U.S. or Iraqi forces or been involved in an accident.
