Baby's bare-chest picture 'too offensive' for passport |
2005-02-15 |
A mother was told she could not use a photograph of her bare-chested baby son for a passport because it was "offensive". #4 When I visited Israel a few years ago the customs gal there asked me if I wanted my passport stamped. I said "Sure, why not." She replied "Well, you won't be able to visit Saudi Arabia (and she listed some other Arab hellholes) with an Israel stamp in your passport." I replied "Stamp it. I'll never visit any of those places." She grinned and stamped away. {8^) |

#1 Unbelievable. Looking on the bright side, at least she wasn't arrested for child pornography and endangering an infant. Sheesh. Can't do anything anymore without fears of "offending" someone. |
