Mazuri Mamat, 32, pleaded guilty to giving his son Mu'izzuddin Mazuri, now eight, to Ingrid Angelika Braun, who works in Malaysia, three years ago, the New Straits Times said. He was tried before an Islamic sharia court in the northeastern Kelantan state, which had earlier ordered that the child be returned to his 26-year old Muslim mother.
