#14 Mine has the Pope's name on it, and who it is, as the headline - a bit more informative. Benedict is more the subject, his history, theology, and the reaction. #10 St. Benedict's rule for monasticism is indeed a moderate one. It is communal rather than solitary, disciplined without the extremes of asceticism that characterized some monks before him and has a lot of common sense built into it. Interesting choice of name. |
