#3 As the article says, I don't think all these terrorists can really be classified as "Number 3's", at some point it starts getting ridiculous. IMO, if there is a "Number 3" within the organisation, it should probably consist of the head of the military committee, which was Mohammad Atef before he was killed during the Afghan war. Guys like Abu Zubeida and al-Libi are just other important people who are worth catching, regardless of how much influence they hold in the extremely decentralised al Qaeda heirarchy. |
