Iran has sccessfully tested 2,000-km range surface missile, says defense minister Shamkhani in Tehran. Shehab-3 is powered by solid fuel. DEBKAfile adds: A Shehab-3 launching base recently built in central Iran to defend nuclear industry against attack. Its launchers are pointed towards US targets in Iraq, Israel and Gulf. Range Map |
