| A policeman was killed when his vehicle came under fire in Grozny on Friday. Fire was opened on Akhmed Khushalapov's vehicle from several passing cars near the local food market, the Chechen Interior Ministry told Interfax. The policeman died of wounds in a hospital. The assailants stole Khushalapov's Kalashnikov assault rifle, Makarov pistol and cartridges. |
