Al-Qaeda ordered London attack in May 29 internet message

The Islamist extremist group, al-Qaeda, ordered attacks on Europe in a May 29 internet message that the Spanish secret service forwarded to their British counterparts at the weekend, reported a Spanish newspaper on Monday. The Spanish national intelligence centre sent a copy of the Arabic-language message - signed by "Abu Hafs al-Masri Brigades - European division" - on Saturday to the British intelligence service MI5, and it was also published on Saturday by the daily El Mundo. The message, entitled "Letter to Mujahedeen in Europe", stated in part: "We now call on the mujahedeen around the world to launch the expected attack".

El Mundo wrote that Spanish intelligence officials believed this was a reference to the attacks in London last Thursday. The newspaper reported that the Spanish secret service had been examining the statements of the European division of Abu Hafs al-Masri Brigades, named after an al-Qaeda leader who was killed in Afghanistan, since the Madrid bombings.

#4  This is horsecrap. Every other day there's some message from one of these guys saying that they're days away from launching an attack which will kill thousands of infidels. I don't know how experts determine that a specific one of these many warnings is actually genuine.

#3  From what I understand Al Queda with a few exemptions from the past when we were a sleep in the west has transformed into a group that gives no actionable intellegence. How becuase sounds to me it is just groups all over 5-20 maybe men strong that consider themselves part of al queda but are independent sets like in the gangs here. Al Queda issues a attack europe green light and the sets do what they can to make the claim real I would bet even Osama himself is just as suprised by us when and what is attacked. He probably knows something is coming but not exactly what.

Makes it impossible to stop the attacks or groups no matter how much of the upper leadership that goes down. Drive home the point that when you are facing a portion of a population you cant just cut them off from coming to the West the only option is somehow force them to move to a certian location preferably away from our cities to fight and die. Hmmm I wonder were that would be?????? These radicals are very macho offensive I heard once a story on how US troops during the invasion drove around with loud speakers blarring insults to the Iraqis to get the Fedayine to jump out of the fox holes and positions and charge to thier death. I wonder if maybe kicking in someones home door then declaring we are going to be here until we are done making the your home look how we want it and by the way "bring it on" if that would be considered the same as above on a grand scale. things tha make you go Hmmmmm
