The explosion that damaged the bakery occurred in the main bazaar in Turbat, a town about 650 kilometers southeast of Baluchistan’s capital of Quetta, local police official Abdul Sattar said. Two other explosions damaged two huge electricity pylons, disrupting power to thousands of homes and businesses, said Jibrael Khan, a spokesman for the state-run utility company, Water and Power Development Authority. No one claimed responsibility for either attack, the latest in a series of small-scale bombings that have hit Baluchistan in recent years.
