 NANKANA SAHIB: At least six people including two women and four children died of burns after combustible material being manufactured for election victory celebrations exploded during preparation on Wednesday. Reportedly, the explosive material was being manufactured in the house of a local firecracker manufacturer, Iftikhar, in Kothi Bazaar when suddenly it exploded, instantly killing Iftikhar's wife Rehana and a relative, Zarina. Four children who were burnt died later at Mayo Hospital in Lahore. |
