All of these moments in the past where we have questioned the left and its desire to see us victorious, and the left always says, "Are you attacking my patriotism? You are attacking my patriotism! You can't attack my patriotism," and everybody has always backed down.

Everybody has always said, "No, no, no! I'm not attacking your patriotism! I'm questioning your judgment."

I think it's time to stop dancing around this issue, folks, to tell you the truth. It's time for somebody to tell the people on the left, "You're damn right we are questioning your patriotism."

I think these rules should be applied to all people in the US as-well including CITIZENS.

"Grounds for deportation will be extended to include the expression of views which "foment, justify or glorify terrorist violence in furtherance of particular beliefs," or "seek to provoke others to terrorist acts."

Of course like our sedition laws it will be up to the gov to actually enforce the damm things.

#8  We have laws on the books today that were made to deal with such people. "Sedition" A lot of the LLL's are war over the line it is one thing to critisize the method of doing something like more troops less troops but to call our enemy "terrorist are freedom fighters" "Minute men of Iraq" to take a one bad incident in Abu Grahib and push it 24/7 for no reason besides to enrage the arab street and push anti-war efforts that openly undermine a active war effort. To have protesters camped out in front of the Military Hospitol pounding the wounded soldgiers in what is thier most tramatic time with signs like "maimed for life" ect... that is f*cking sick. Everytime the US has gone to major war in the past WW1, WW2, the gov rounded up trouble makers who didnt disagree on how to win just plain old wanted to help the US lose or demoralize our effort to win.

I say that we should take these people and deport them to the country of thier choice yank thier citizenship and ban them from ever being able to return to the states for visit, buisness, or anything. If you at the minimum cant contain yourself not to undermine a war effort at the price of US soldgiers lives then you are not american and dont deserve the privilages being a citizen gets you. It sickens me when I talk to immigrants that have more love and respect for this nation than some of the people born here do. Being a US citizen and being part of the richest, freeist, and most powerful nation in the world is a privaledge not a right. I say if you dont like it go werever you think it is better because I garantee that in short order after you leave you will understand what most of our new immigrants understand.

#7  The left is always willing to sacrifice other people's blood and money.

Just call it "multilateral generosity".

If you can't understand, well then, you're just not nuanced enough.

#6  The Left certainly sacrificed a million and a quarter Cambodians in the third Holocaust of the 20th Century. Now they're working to provide the same opportunity for the Iraqis in the 21st Century.

#5  OS,

I disagree. They do have love for country. Just not ours. Russia, China, and Iran tops their love list.

#4  Until it became known that Cindy Sheehan was anti-american and until the hard left embraced her anyway, the issue of 'is the left patriotic' could be reasonably argued.

No longer.

#3  As usual, Rush is right. We've given these lefty bastards a pass on this issue for far too long. Many of them are traitors and are actively giving aid and comfort to the enemy.

The Left are not willing to sacrifice (everybody else)?
Posted by: gromgoru   2005-08-25 02:31

#1  patriotism

n : love of country and willingness to sacrifice for it

Note that the left is missing both of the components: love of country, willingness to sacrifice
