| Oil- and gas-rich Mauritania's foreign minister Ahmad Walid Sayd Ahmad on Friday signaled his country's foreign policy - especially its diplomatic relations with Israel - were not about to alter as a result of the change of government earlier this month. This is good news, especially in light of al Qaeda interest in North Africa. |
