GHALANAI: The political administration of Mohmand Agency seized a large cache of weapons and ammunition from Afghanistan destined for Sindh on Wednesday. The authorities cordoned off Yakaghund Road in Mohmand Agency on a tip-off and found hundreds of mortar guns and rocket shells, 6,000 Kalashnikov bullets and 400 Kalakov bullets. A senior administration official told Daily Times that truck driver Aqeel Khan had told investigators that the ammunition was to be handed over to a gang of inter-provincial weapons smugglers in Sindh.
