Rantburg gets spam

Normally I'd dump this item, but it got me thinking: who knew that Irish War bagpipes and drum major maces came from Pakland? Do the proprietors ever get in trouble with the Islamists? Or is it secretly run by a retired ISI general?

More questions: Does M. Aslam secretly read Rantburg, or did a spambot find its way in?

And finally, a pipe band has three types of instruments: the bagpipes, the snare drum, and the bass drum. Which one would YOU play? Discuss...

I think, thanks to B. Skolaut, that the Marine in question was fitted out with a proper camo-kilt)
I tried, Sgt. Mom, but somebody else took care of it first.

What's important is he got his cami-kilt. Wonder where he is now? I'd love to hear him play - once. (Bagpipes are nice in theory, at a great distance. ;-p)

#5  Count yourself lucky. It seems like I've gotten thousands of spam emails, all offering "penis enarglement(sic)".

I have no idea what penis enarglement is, but it sounds terribly painful.

Second place goes to some young woman named Christi, "who soils her panties when she gets excited".

Now there is a person I do not want to hang out with.

You bring her flowers, she soils herself.

Ecch. Poster child for 'Depends'.

#4  Actually, after I posted a link to a story about a Marine in Fallujah who was a bagpipe player, and found it immeasurably inspiring that he was piping men into battle, I did get a couple of links and e-mails about this--- including one from a fine purveyor of bagpipes, etc. in Pakistan. A hold-over from the glory days of the British Raj, I thought. (I think, thanks to B. Skolaut, that the Marine in question was fitted out with a proper camo-kilt) It was a bit ago, and I am on my third glass of Chablis.) No, someone in Paki-land has internet access, and an eye toward commercial prospects, and a romantic fondness about the fine old days of the British Raj.

#3  Masonic jewelry??!!?!!

(Okay, they say Jewllery, but I think that's what they mean)

It's a dead give away. The International Zionist Conspiracy is announcing that it has taken over Pakland, too. It's a code telling their minions (masons, JEWS, get it?) that Pakistan is ripe for the picking, that they can come and get their "bags" and "pipes" now. It's perfectly obvious once you know how to read it. "Kitchner pith helmets" and "spats" indeed! As if anyone outside the inner chamber of initiates even knows the difference between "glengarries" and "balmorals."

When something doesnt make sense, it usually does.

#2  I've been looking for a place to get a replacement Pith Helment. And my Spats are looking a little threadbare lately....
