Previous shoots have been held in New York, Belgium, Barcelona and Brazil, as well as London and Tyneside in the UK. Men and women of all ages, most of them from the Lyon area but some from further afield, arrived in the city at 4.30am to receive their instructions. As dawn broke, the volunteers stripped naked and scurried into place, ready to move into formation with arms and legs held high. Tunick, 38, carried out the world's largest nude photo shoot in Barcelona in June 2003, when 7,000 volunteers stripped for the camera. | |

| #2 I'm sorry, that's not art... not even comedy. That picture, my friends, is farce. And no doubt the parents and the children of the participants will quickly realize it. And the poor darlings will spend the rest of their pneumonia-shortened lives either lying or boasting about their participation, to the disinterest of every audience they bore. |

| #1 Sometimes, I think art lovers are just gullible. Some "artist" has gotta be laughin' his a(*&^#$ off right about now. And, is it some unwritten law that the uglier the person the more they wanna be nudists?? |
