The Moro Islamic Liberation Front said Wednesday that it would dismantle a headquarters in South Cotabato following protests by villagers. Gov. Daisy Fuentes of South Cotabato said civilians are scared by the presence of armed rebels in the village. She said the rebels build camps in the area. MILF spokesman Eid "Babalu" Kabalu said members of the joint committees on the cessation of hostilities and the Malaysia-led truce observers are investigating the report. âThere are neither new camps nor ongoing construction of camps in the area. What we have there is a small command post manned by about 30 to 50 members,â Kabalu told The Manila Times.| "Really nothing.
