Absconding JMB activist Billal Hossain, 30, an accused chargesheeted in the August 17 bomb blasts in Satkhira was arrested today (Wednesday). Police said Billal was arrested from Kharibila Primary School ground in sadar upazila at about 4pm. He had blasted the bomb at new Judge’s Court compound. Seven of the chargesheeted accused have so far been arrested while 13 remained fugitive.Another report from Chandpur said that in a rare gesture Joynal Abedin Patwary handed over to the police his son Rahmatullah, an accused of Aug 17 bomb lasts, on Tuesday night. His name was mentioned by Shamim Hossain alias Ghalib to the police in confessional statement.
