#11 My fault. Pak Daily Times' web designer decided to use backslashes () in links, rather than the normal forward slashes (/). Most systems take the as an escape character. I've applied a fix in the mods' poster, but forgot to do so in the guest poster. I'll try and fix it today. It's agin the law in Paki'O Waki to use the vertical>> (|) |

#8 Yeah but in all fairness burning two Peugeot 107's or two Citroen C1's is like burning one car in North America. You have to make the conversion I thought two French cars equaled 1.3 cars in North America? I hates metric... |

#6 The question remains: the the rioters have "riot fatigue", so things will settle down for quite a while; or are they getting more organized and perhaps planning some more enterprising attacks? Certainly they will be discussing tactics, and those in jail will be exchanging all sorts of useful information. |

#3 Fred, I couldn't access your link to that Pakistani paper. could be that they don't accept hits from Israel? This is the message I got: Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a000d' Type mismatch: 'CDate' /default.asp, line 105 Anyway, back to the subject, when discussing the riots someone - I think it was a French MP or policeman - said, "The rioters are not burning the cars of the rich, they are burning the cars of the poor." Right. In that case I wouldn't mind being poor in France. |

#1 As per FNC, the French claim that 98 or 100 cars being burned a day is "NORMAL", albeit I missed that part on whether for Paris or for France in general. |
