#8 I deny I am dead. I am the number one enemy of alqeda? (next to George Bush). That's how easy it is to prove they are wrong, or I even existed. |

#7 Is there a possibility of a vulture circling here? Would seem we are getting close to a solution. |

#6 But they always deny the guy's been killed/captured/carried off by demons when it occurs. See Ramzi bin al-Shibh, Khattab, Abu Zubaydah, al-Muqrin, etc. So the question remains open. |

#5 Let's not repeat the "they must *prove* he's alive with a live video" meme which exhausted itself already with Osama bin Laden, dead at Tora Bora, and Saddam Hussein, dead two dozen times during the invasion. If Zarqawi was dead, the jihadis would most likely be playing up his "heroic martyrdom". Right now, neither side's saying Zarqawi's dead, so it's mere wishful thinking to believe he is. |

#4 Some live video footage plus sound track with Zarqawi holding today's edition of the International Hearld Tribune and talking about events occurring after the Mosul firefight is required to refute allegations of his exceptionally timely demise. All else is noise. |

#2 Keeping the boys off balance. Every communique from Zarq could be fake, could be real. Who are you going to trust? |

#1 So? Release a video showing today's NYT with an obviously alive Zarq. Otherwise it's just noise... |
