| Turks release woman with al-Qaeda ties |

| A Turkish woman, who was detained in Istanbul on charges of having ties to Al-Qaida terrorist organization, was released on Tuesday. The woman was detained at Istanbul's Ataturk Airport after she had been deported from Pakistan to Turkey. She was released after her interrogation at the Istanbul Prosecutor's Office. Speaking to reporters, the woman said that she was kidnapped by armed men in Pakistan where she had gone with her husband to help earthquake victims, adding that she returned to Turkey after kidnappers released them. |
