Unidentified tribesmen shot dead two khasadar (tribal police) personnel in MiranshahÂ’s main bazaar late on Monday night. The attackers fled the scene after stealing the khasadarsÂ’ weapons. Also, MNA Maulana Nek Zaman told Daily Times on Tuesday that for the jirga (tribal council) that the government plans to form to be successful, all tribesmen arrested by security agencies would have to be released. He said about 50 tribesmen were being held at detention centres being run by intelligence agencies in Dera Ismail Khan and Peshawar.
