(KUNA) -- A terrorist group on Friday killed five people in Al-Blida east of the capital Algiers including a man of 80 years and a child of 10, an Algerian security source said. The source said the terrorists, a group of six militants, had stopped two cars transporting the victims and set fire to one of the two vehicles with two people inside. The source added two people were able to escape the attackers. All five bodies were taken to the morgue at Blida. Algerian Army forces had just weeks ago combed the area to bolster security and detect any untoward activity. |
