Fergodsakes, I hate this newagey mush! Kid is feeling better, so she's happier and not as miserable, which reflects in her relating to others.

As for health improvement, there is something to it. Dolphins can sound you out, and "see" insides. If they find something somatic they can fix by sound waves, and feel like it, they are able to help. But diseases visit dolphins too, and some of them can't be "fixed".

Also, dolphins as social creatures are not that different from humans. They have their pecking order of hierarchies, and a whole spectrum of behavioral patterns one finds in other social animals, rape inclusive, and if one is a dolphin asshat, may get killed lickety split, no bones about it.
