| Police ambushed, SI killed |

 SWABI: A sub-inspector (SI) was killed and a constable injured when two unidentified motorcyclists opened fire at police on Tuesday. Sources said police was attacked while patrolling Swabi-Maneri road resulting in the death of SI Daad Bahadar Khan and injuring Constable Niaz Muhammad. The injured was rushed to hospital. The assailants managed to escape. Police have raided many locations and an FIR has been filed. |
