The brave Lions of Islam strike again
The official said the journalist, Wazir, had previously received threats from unidentified pro-Taleban local Islamic militants who believed he was writing stories against them.Â’
At the BBC?

The height of ingratitude. After everything the BBC has done for them in such an unstinting fashion.

#1  Here's what the BBC says:

Brother of BBC journalist killed

The 15-year-old brother of a BBC reporter has been killed in Pakistan's tribal region of South Waziristan.
Taimur Khan, brother of Dilawar Khan Wazir, was found with severe head wounds in the town of Wana on Wednesday after going missing on Tuesday night.

He later succumbed to his injuries in hospital. Officials say it is not clear who carried out the attack or why.

The Khans' house was targeted by a bomb last year. Our reporter says his family has no personal or tribal enmities.

Previous attacks

The federal government's assistant representative in the region, Arshad Naveed, told the BBC it was not yet clear whether Taimur Khan had been stoned or if he received his wounds through a fall.

Dilawar Khan's house and a school run by his family were targeted by unidentified people with bombs last December.

The journalist and his family escaped unhurt - the explosion damaged part of their house wall in Wana town.

It is not clear whether the murder of Taimur Khan is part of a series of targeted killings in the region.
