| #7 Local media spin (in the week before an election!) was very negative towards connolly; that his actions "redefined STUPID". At first, I did not even recognize who was on TV, only the name seemed familiar. It seems the years have not treated TC kindly. He was all puffy faced and rambling; a real-life caricature of a raving moonbat. The press wants nothing to do with him. And to think, at one time he ran for Governor of Maine. (Think of a more intense version of Gore on a smaller stage) |

| #5 I suspect this guy was trying to provoke a police over-reaction so he could sue, or at least get a lot publicity to the effect that our anti-terrorism programs are really fascist repression of free speech. |

| #4 I don't know who this is better for: the democrats because it allows them to dig up the old "Bush is a drunk" canard that gave them significant traction in the 2000 election; or the Republicans because it shows that Democrats are wacky nut jobs. |

| #3 There was no mug shot in that case, indicating that GWB was probably not booked. Depending on the co-operation of the suspect and the marginality of the evidence, many DUIs don't get beyond the investigation stage. |
