| #26 Working with the USMC is the best part of my job. I can't express the admiration that I have for these fine men. I am in awe of them on a routine basis. I wish I had been smart enough to make the right decision and joined after college. Happy birthday USMC. My thanks for all that you do. |

Modest being a relative term when it comes to Marines and the consumption of alcohol (I know, I've drank with them before - much to my regret the next day). |

| #20 Happy birthday, USMC. With regard to drinking My dad served with Chesty on Guadalcanal, Cape Gloucester, and Peleliu. He always looked up to him. Another Marine I always admired was Gen. Archie Vandegrift, who got a Medal of Honor for superb leadership above and beyond the call of duty, during those dark days at Guadalcanal and Henderson Field. |
