(Xinhua) -- One Taliban insurgent was killed and eight others were wounded by police in Farah province of western Afghanistan Wednesday morning, the provincial police chief told Xinhua. About 25 Taliban militants attacked a police post in Bala Buluk district, said Sayed Aqa Saqib, adding the police fought back and caused the Taliban casualties. There were no casualties of the police, he added. Farah province, a relatively calm region, has occasionally witnessed Taliban-linked attacks or clashes. |

#1 We used to read that the police had fled from a Taliban attack. Now we read that they're fighting back and inflicting casualties. The next thing you know, they're going to start taking it to the taliwhackers, and catch them where they live. THAT will be when we can start concentrating on stopping the flow from pakistan. |
