(KUNA) -- At least 30 insurgents were killed and eight others were arrested when Iraqi and US forces were conducting a security operation near the location were Iraqi police found 15 bodies in Kharkh area here, said a security source Saturday. The source told KUNA that the joint forces stormed Haifa Street in Baghdad and managed to kill the insurgents and arrest others.It was a busy day for Iraqi police who found a number of 27 dead bodies near a cemetery in Baghdad.
Ummm... Sounds like an appropriate place for dead bodies, if y'know whudda mean. Though another KUNA article mentions that 15 of them had been hanged...
According to eyewitnesses, the victims were killed in retaliation to the execution of former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein.
