| 3 govt officials kidnapped in Balochistan |

| Unidentified men kidnapped three officials of the Balochistan Public Health Engineering (PHE) and Irrigation Department near Dera Allah Yar, police said on Tuesday. Akhtar Hussain, Nasirabad Range police deputy inspector general, said that PHE Sub-Divisional Engineer Shakeel Ahmed Ansari, Irrigation SDO Abdul Karim Luni and Irrigation Sub-Engineer Abdul Shakoor were kidnapped when they were going from Jacobabad to Dera Murad Jamali in an official vehicle on Monday night. He said that the police later seized the vehicle from Goth Peeru Khan, and added that an operation to recover those abducted was in progress. He said Dera Allah Yar police had also registered a case against the unidentified kidnappers. |
