| 'Suicide bombers' may hit DIK courts |

| Some 20 would-be suicide bombers, including eight women, have entered Dera Islmail Khan and may target the district courts, the district police officer has said, Online reported. DPO Abdul Rasheed Khan, in a meeting with Additional Sessions Judge Sajjad Anwar Khan, District Bar President Hashmat Nawaz Khan and Investigation Circle chief Imtiaz Khan on Saturday, said the bombers were expected to attack in the next 15-20 days. He said police were tightening security by preventing all vehicles from entering the district courts and searching all individuals who enter on foot. Daily Times Monitor adds: Peshawar police arrested a would-be suicide bomber from a passenger van in Haripur near Abbotabad on Saturday, Geo television reported. The police stopped the van, bound for Abbotabad from Mardan, near Haripur and asked all passengers to run away from the vehicle. Police arrested a man who was wearing a jacket packed with explosive material and carrying two bombs. |
