Army has also recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition from the possession of the slain militants. "A war like store of arms and ammunition was recovered from their possession which included four AK 47 assault rifles, large number of explosives, food material and other such stuff used for carrying out militancy related activities." Said the PRO Adding he said, "However the identity of the killed terrorists could not be established as yet, but from the documents recovered from them it has been confirmed that all of the four belonged to Lashkar- e- Taiba terrorist outfit." In another operation two unidentified terrorists were killed by the jawans of 2 Para Battalion of the army in the Devnar.-Margitop in Sogam village of Kupwara district in north Kashmir. |
