What ever happened to being parents, not buddies with your child, nor exploiters - just parents who love their children enough to teach them right form wrong, help them earn true self respect, guide them and discipline them?

I see way too manypartent who treat the child as an accessory to be dumnped into school and daycare and parked in front of the XBox at home, or those who try to be thier child's buddy by giving into every whim and stupid idea the child has.
