Sar Buland from the Hayatabad police station told Daily Times that a truck loaded with obsolete weapons was being offloaded at the Frontier Foundry Steel Mills in the Hayatabad Industrial Estate when the explosion took place. “The blast killed Dilawar and injured Muslim, Bahar Ali and Nasir Ali,” Buland said, adding that the victims were labourers. Peshawar police chief Abdul Majeed Marwat told Daily Times that it was not a terrorism incident and that the truck had arrived from Afghanistan. |
