Cause unclear, hasn't affected other Bay area towns at this point.
It's obvious to me. Nancy Pelosi hasn't filed impeachment charges yet.

#7  Downtown SF power is delvered by a single dedicated line coming up the penninsula. It serves no other market.

We had a similar blackout when I worked there in the late nineties, and there was no backup or fail safe line. Doesn't sound like they got around to getting one.
