Three government officials killed in Mogadishu |

![]() The security forces rushed to the area of the killings and stepped in investigations over the suspects as the attackers escaped unharmed. No one has yet claimed the responsibility of the latest act of killings. But earlier the insurgents warned anyone involved in the government activities. Residents told Somalinet that local militants armed with pistols shot the three men dead as they were in Bacaad market, the second largest market in Mogadishu. The killed men have been in Mogadishu for work. The capital is increasingly becoming the butchery for the district officials. More than 10 district commissioners have been assassinated since the arrival of the interim government troops after the ouster of the Islamic Courts late December 2006. |
