| 20 killed, 45 wounded in Iraq bombings |

| Bombs killed 20 people in Iraq on Saturday including 15 killed and 45 wounded in a car-bomb blast near a market in BaghdadÂ’s Shia district of Sadr City, Iraqi police said. The bomber attempted to break through a checkpoint at the districtÂ’s Al-Nassar police station but police opened fire and he blew up the vehicle outside a nearby eatery, the officials said. |
