| #1 The British have been humiliating and short changing their military for so long. When they are serving alongside the US in combat operations, we should give them a standing offer that if they want to, they can laterally transfer to the US army while keeping their rank and time in grade, if the alternative is to be denied the equipment they need and to be retired from the battlefield before the job is done. If we did so, entire units would embarrassingly jump ship. |
