President Gen Pervez Musharraf on Tuesday said that he would not take oath for his next term as president until the Supreme Court gave its verdict on the petitions filed against the presidential election.
"Nope. Nope. Ain't takin' no chances!" | Talking to ARY Television, President Musharraf said that the PPP had not voted for him in the election, despite an agreement. He said this reflected the PPPÂ’s negative attitude, adding that their not resigning from the assemblies was a positive sign. He denied any split in the ruling PML and also denied any presidential or prime minister groups within the party. |
