| #17 Darn it, it's too late for a nap -- I'll have to go to bed early. Encyclopedias, not dictionaries. Mr. Webster, you'll be quite safe if you take three steps back. Oggles are for ogling at a distance, not as protection from projecting protuberances. Besides, you're the Congressman who argued the case against the Devil, not the dictionary man, if I recall my folk tales correctly. ;-) |

| #11 If you’re being leered at lustfully you’re being ogled (first vowel sounds like “OH”)—not “oggled,” even if you’re being ogled through goggles. The word is probably related to the German word äugeln, meaning “to eye,” from Auge (“eye”). |
