A "self-styled commander" of Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), was killed in an encounter in Bandipore district of Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir Tuesday. The Indian security forces launched a search operation at Chakrishipura in Bandipore district this morning, news agency Press Trust of India reported. The self-styled JeM district commander — Amanullah Bukhari a resident of Gujranwala in Pakistan, was killed in the encounter, the news agency said.
