| #1 They didn't want to just report facts, they wanted to find facts to fit their narratives and they began to preach instead of report. Now nobody buys their magazines anymore because it's 95% crap and only 5% news - and news that is buried deep within their narrative. They killed the goose that laid their golden egg. It's called "goodwill" in the business world. They lost it right when they needed it most to survive and they will never get it back. |
