June 1, 1954, IKE signs Armistice Day change to Veterans Day To every man and women Veteran today living and passed on, Thank You and God Bless ... on every day of the year. | #1 After taking time to remember the sacrifices of those who preserve and protect our liberty, I hope the remaining doughboys and all other vets have the happy Armistice Day or Remembrance Day they have earned. |
