Uganda Ebola Spread Confirmed

#4  The Hot Zone by Richard Preston (a book on Ebola, Marburg etc..) The book begins and ends in a place called Kitum Cave in the flanks of Mt. Elgon between Kenya and Uganda. This cave is where scientists and doctors suspect Ebola lives in nature, but they never do find out.

There is lots of clay near the cave. RNA and DNA are preserved quite well in some clays.

#3  I have stated before. I believe the native host could well be entombed in ancient clays. Monkeys and some humans eat clay or get it on wounds.

I posted this on Usenet in the early 90s and some viral researchers still consider it worthy to check into. Unfortunately it appears that health bureaucrats haven't.
