Expressing grave concern over current series of suicide attacks in the country, president Pervez Musharraf said Tuesday that the government was making all out efforts to eliminate sources of suicide attacks so that ii could be rooted out.
Addressing a programme named “Rehbar-e-Taraqi-o-Kamal” at Mazar-e-Quaid in connection of the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the president said, “ The government aims to abolish those sources which generate terrorists and suicide bombers.” He said that Pakistan faces more internal threats than the external perils and government is trying to eliminate the root-causes of terrorism from the country. Pervez Musharrf further said that terrorism and extremism are coming forth as a new dimension of internal threat to the nation, which, we are dealing with effectively. |
