Top of the Ticket at the Los Angeles Times reports that Rudy Giuliani may be laying the groundwork for quitting the Republican nomination race if he doesn't win the Florida primary tomorrow.In the back of his chartered plane on the way to St. Petersburg, the blog says, Giuliani told Times reporter Louise Roug and others, "The winner of Florida will win the nomination." Though he went on to predict he would win, "that's an unusually categorical statement," the bloggers note.
Especially since it would take an upset for him to win. Polls show Mitt Romney and John McCain fighting for first place, with Giuliani trailing badly.
