| Security forces arrested three close aides of local Taliban commander Maulana Fazlullah during a search operation at Kanju checkpost, sources told Daily Times on Friday. Tazamin alias Abu Mursad, Sher Nawaz alias Abu Sufian and Matiullah alias Abu Zar were shifted to an undisclosed location for interrogation, they added. Late Thursday night, security forces fired artillery shells at suspected militant hideouts in Piyochar, Manja and Tota Bandi when they were informed about militantsÂ’ presence there. Five houses were partially damaged in the shelling, however no casualties were reported. |
