| #1 Why is any of this surprising? Why would anyone be desperate to be governor of Arkansas? Perhaps for the graft and corruption? Being POTUS allowed him (and the Hildebeest) access to even greater bribes. Kazakhstan was simply cashing in. We get politicians like this is when the electorate votes for whoever they think will "give" them the most, a situation foreseen by de Tocqueville almost 200 years ago. |
