| #9 Streetsweepers might be better than the 7.62 for controlling rioters. But I still think they'd get tired of rioting if the Danes published new cartoons every day. Deporting them would be the ideal solution but if the Danes can't do that they should try to wear them down and desensitize them with a constant barrage of offensive material in the media. Let free speech flourish unimpeded by PC bullcrap. Let the barbarians know that people can, and quite often will, say whatever they damn well please. |

| #2 The Europeans could stop a lot of the nonsense by having a "100% arrest" policy for rioters. It takes prior planning, but when a riot happens, you seal it off, photograph and snag every one of them--who then get maximum time for damages. There is a substance that can be sprayed on both asphalt and concrete to make it too slick to walk across. This means that police don't have to be there in overwhelming numbers to make the bust. |
