| The current La Nina is about as strong as its ever been (at least for the 20+ years for which we have legitimate data). You can see the sea-surface anomaly depicted here. |

| #4 This is a better graphic BTW, the climate models got this completely wrong. For months they have been predicting the la nina will weaken and it just keeps getting stronger. |
